About Lucinda Sutherland
Born and raised in Idaho, Lucinda is the youngest of her parents’ four children and had a built-in audience. She has come to expect an audience. She loves singing, acting, and teaching, and can frequently be found talking with strangers because in her eyes everyone has a story and something special about them. Lucinda has been married for more than 30 years to the same man (he is so patient!) and they have four adult daughters, four sons-in-law, and several grandchildren. Having traveled a lot while her husband served in the US Air Force they now stay close to home, usually only traveling to visit family or for research.
Lucinda writes Christian fiction, including her recent Regency romance novel Drawing Out Anna, and allegories for the young adult reader. Lucinda has also written some Bible-studies for specific women’s groups and mothers, as well as writing puppet skits and poetry when the mood hits her. Most of her published work has been for area newspapers and she frequently contributes articles in her local paper highlighting the activities of the Payette County Historical Museum where she is a volunteer and serves as vice-president of the museum board of directors.
